For 20 years, I ran operations the hard way. Human teams across three countries. At my peak, 90 employees looked to me to keep the machine running.

And I did. On deadline, on budget, on adrenaline.

Here is what the LinkedIn version leaves out: the burnout. The seasons where the business ran on my nervous system because there was no other system underneath it.

I know what it costs to be the bottleneck. I have paid that bill in my body.

THEN MY BRAIN CALLED THE MEETING.

In May of 2024, a traumatic brain injury changed how my brain works.

I rebuilt my recovery past what the doctors said was possible. Then I rebuilt my business around one rule: a company cannot depend on any one brain. Including mine.

My brain is not the same as before. It no longer needs to be. I built an external one: a Business Brain that remembers everything, staffed with AI employees that carry the load.

It started as a contingency plan. It turned out to be a better way to run a company.

When AI arrived, I did not see a content toy. I saw the thing I needed twenty years ago: a way for a business to hold its own knowledge, run its own processes, and do its own busywork, without requiring a founder's constant output to survive.

But I also watched what most people were being sold. Prompt packs. Random chats. Generic output that sounds like nobody.

The problem was never the prompts. The problem was the missing memory.
